Piano: Practice Journal

 Hey everyone!

Time to bust out the piano! 

I've been playing the piano for nearly 5 years now, and have completed levels 5-6 of Syllabus.  I unfortunately haven't been able to take any of the other tests because of Covid, but I'm practicing level 7 theory with my teacher, Nicole.  I've taken lessons steadily until August of 2021, when my Mom and I (who also takes piano lessons) took a four month break.  Now we're back!

I'm playing the Scarlatti Sonata K. 113 in A Major, as well as Chopin Nocturne Op. 9 No. 2 in E-flat Major.  I've been in a slight rut with the Scarlatti.  I've had to slow it down a little bit and make sure I have it solid.  I'm hoping to be singed off on the Chopin Nocturne by next lesson.  I'll let you know if I am!
